Responsibilities:
•Provide front desk customer service to guests
•Handle reservations and enquires by phone, email, facebook etc
•Maintain media platforms like Facebook and wordpress etc.
•Attend to any enquiries that the guests may have.
•Process guest check–in / check-out on a daily basis.
•Process guest payment on check-out and follow-up on collection for credit sales.
•Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone with good phone etiquette; greeting and assisting guests
•Deal with travel agencies, internet companies and corporate customers on reservations, arrivals and cancellations
•Responding to complaints, service issues and other general questions or concerns as appropriate.
•Working with all areas of our operations: maintenance, housekeeping, accounting, marketing and computers.
•The position involves a considerable amount of computer work, including spreadsheets, our hostel reservation software and point-of-sales system.
•Dutifully carry out other jobs as may be assigned
Requirements:
•Min ‘O’ Levels, ITE , diploma or relevant qualifications in Hospitality or customer service industry
•Shift work required.
•Good interpersonal skills and customer service.
•Detail and service oriented
•Able to work independently or as a team when required.
•Takes initiative, quick witted, fun loving and love meeting people.
•Able to speak Good English and at least one other language.
•Has good knowledge about the tourism industry in Singapore.
•Knowledge about travelling around the region is a plus.
